PC Technician
Minimum/ General Experience:
One (1) to five (5) years of applicable experience in maintaining and repairing computer systems, including peripheral equipment and supporting software.
Functional Responsibility:
The PC Technician works under general supervision providing maintenance of computer and peripheral equipment and software systems in an operational environment generally at a client site. Provide technical management support to remote client sites. Day to day supervision for the maintenance of the computer sire, including the computer, support software programs in operational condition.
Minimum Education:
High School diploma or certificate
Help Desk Support
Minimum/General Experience:
Has five (5) years of progressive experience in a helpdesk environment with emphasis on microcompute hardware and software applications.
Functional Responsibility:
Provides user support to IBM compatible PC users and/or provides user support Macintosh users. Works with multi-server Novell 5.11, bases system supporting, users and work printers. Experience running a variety of applications that may includes; Word for Windows, Excel, paradox for Windows, PowerPoint, ProComm and cc: Mail for Windows, etc. Serves as the initial point of contact for troubleshooting hardware/software PC and printer problems.
Minimum Education:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Technical/Administrative Support Specialist II
Minimum/General Experience:
Has three (3) years of experience in an office setting, supporting various technical and administrative activities.
Functional Responsibilities:
Prepares draft and final form technical documents that will become deliverable items. Must be capable of typing at average or above speed average. Must be capable of typing narratives and data. Incumbent is responsible for spelling, grammar, and proper format, and for proofreading finished documents. Must be capable of using various word processing equipments. Must be familiar with typical office administrative procedures and processes.
Minimum Education:
An Associate's degree is required. Five (5) years of experience may substitute for the degree requirements.
Documentum
Minimum/General Experience:
Bachelor's Degree or extensive experience in Computer Science, and knowledge of Documentum 5 and/or 6.5.
Functional Responsibilities:
Responsibilities may include but not limited to: technical assistance to the customer in the design, development, support, maintenance and administration of solutions using Documentum 5 and 6.5. Will assist in providing customer advice on the operation, installation, upgrade and maintenance of the e-Records management/imaging solution using Enterprise Content Management tools that are Service Oriented Architecture based. Provide hands-on support for installation, configuration and deployment of the suite of software that are required for the project deployment. Will install and administer the various components required to set up a complete Documentum system, especially the core components. Candidate will finalize the e-Records development environment with Documentum 6.5 including tool installation. Redesign the configuration based on the change in system usage after deployment.
Technical Writer/ Media Consultant
Minimum/General Experience:
Bachelor's degree in appropriate field, and/or 3-5 year of relative experience in business to business and/or government sales, experience in technical write-ups, proposal development and negotiating skills, excellent written and oral communication, polished presentation skills, must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Functional Responsibilities:
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to; create effective advertising and proposal campaigns, network at local events to identify high-probability prospects, assist and edit creative writing for technical documents.
WebLogic Application Server Administration Support
Minimum/General Experience:
Bachelor's Degree or extensive experience in Computer Science, maintains Oracle SOA experience, and knowledge of WebLogic and/or AquaLogoic products.
Functional Responsibilities:
Responsibilities may include but not limited to: Expert knowledge of Oracle SOA application and integrated environment to include defining system scope, objectives, contents and accessibility. Posses experience in; program design, code, test, debug, and create appropriate documentation needed for the Oracle SOA application. Candidate will work with the customer to determine data storage and access requirements and to be able to evaluate and recommend Oracle Systems WebLogic and AquaLogic products to support user requirements.
